Kevin Howery is a Philosopher and musician based in New York. He holds degrees in music and philosophy from Oklahoma City University and the New School for Social Research and is currently working towards his PhD at the University of Bonn under the advisement of Dr. Christoph Horn. Kevin works as a lecturer, writer, conductor and musician, having spoken and performed in various capacities around the world. Kevin’s work and research focus on Kant, Plato, Aristotle, and storytelling as philosophy. He is currently a resident pianist at Don’t Tell Mama NYC.
Research Interests: Kant, Plato, Aristotle, Ethics, Aesthetics, Classics, Philosophy as Poetry, Universalism, Cosmopolitanism, Renaissance Reception of Ancient Greek Thought.
